Phoenix Public Library: Little Bytes Online

Did you know that children can learn the foundations of coding before they can write and spell?
Learn basic problem-solving skills and new vocabulary for children as young as 4 to give them the building blocks to becoming an excellent coder.  Join us online for guided activities as we teach your child the basis of code – problem solving!
Who’s it for? Children ages 4-7 and their favorite grownups. An adult must participate onscreen with their child at all times.
What will you do? In this online program, you and your child will play games, do activities, and learn vocabulary words that support basic coding skills.
Little Bytes Online is an 8 week series.
Program sessions will be held on January 20, 27, as well as February 3, 10, 17, 24 and March 3, 10 from 1:30-2:15 pm online.  Registration is required and by registering you agree to attend all 8 online program sessions. You will receive an email with additional registration information and a required survey. Your registration cannot be finalized until you complete the emailed registration survey.
Supplies: All families will need to pick up a Little Bytes Online Supply Box from your local Phoenix Public Library branch. You will receive information about supply pick-up after you register.
