Phoenix Public Library: Exercise and Wellness for Healthy Aging

How does mindfulness play a role in our overall health?

To find out, join us for the Exercise and Wellness for Healthy Aging program presented by Derek Oetken, the Health Program Coordinator at the Area Agency of Aging!

Learn how physical activity not only enhances our life as we age but improves our overall metabolic health. This program will cover other key questions such as “What is Exercise?” and “How do different forms of physical activity directly relate to a happy and healthy life?” Additional topics this program will cover include different kinds of physical activity, what types of exercise are essential in engaging in as we age, and how to get started.

This program will be presented online using WebEx. Registration is required. Registered participants will receive an email with instructions on how to join the meeting. Don’t see the email? Check your spam folder.
