Phoenix Public Library: Art Coders – Drawings with a Voice

Did you know that you can create art using code? Join MACH1 during a special 1-hour introductory program of Art Coders to code, create, and explore a free code art program. Past projects have featured programing colors, 2D and 3D shapes, digital paint brushes, video filter effects, animations and more. Produce your own original and interactive works of coded art!

Have you ever wanted to mix sight and sound in your own drawing? Join us this week to create a hand drawn picture that uses basic circuitry to add sound effects. We’ll combine drawing, coding, and pre-recorded sounds to make an interactive piece of art.

This program is for children and teens ages 9 – 17. No coding or art experience needed! Basic keyboard and mouse skills are required. Registration is encouraged; space is limited.
