Phoenix Public Library: Art Coders – Code a Painting

Did you know that you can create art using code?

Join MACH1 during our Art Coders series to code, create, and explore different art coding programs each week. Learn how to program colors, 2D and 3D shapes, digital paint brushes, video filter effects, animations and more to produce your own original and interactive works of coded art!

This week at Art Coders: Code a Painting, we’ll teach you to code painting using a free online website called KANO Code. Join us to use block-based programming to turn a blank digital canvas into your very own painted masterpiece!

This program is for children and teens ages 9 – 17. No coding or art experience needed! Basic keyboard and mouse skills are required. Registration is encouraged but not required. Space is limited.
