Phoenix Public Library: A Matter of Life – Suicide Prevention for Older Adults

Suicide Rates of older adults are higher than any other age group in Maricopa County.

The A Matter of Life program is designed to educate and help people recognize the signs and symptoms of suicide, depression, anxiety, and substance abuse in older adults. The program encourages help-seeking behaviors by connecting people with resources, support, and tools to help themselves or someone they know dealing with a painful mental health issue.

Presented by Ariana DiGregorio, Prevention Specialist, Area Agency on Aging Region One.

This program will be presented online using Webex. Registration is required. Registered participants will receive an email with instructions on how to join the meeting.  Don’t see the email? Check your spam folder.
