Phoenix Astronomical Society: Telescope Workshop

The PAS telescope workshops are designed to provide personalized assistance for individuals both wishing to purchase a telescope as well as learn to operate their telescope.

These workshops are taught by experienced amateur astronomers familiar with the various types of telescopes and accessories required for a first-time experience observing the night sky.

Instructions

Please bring writing material to take notes, as well as information on any astronomy equipment you may be considering.

If you are bringing your telescope, please make sure you have all the components, including tripod, eyepieces, and other accessories. If the weather permits, you will set up your telescope outside the classroom and learn how to view the moon or other object visible in the night sky.
