Natural History Institute: NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY FOR EVERYONE
Let’s go to nature, see what the day brings, and spend the day making pictures. Join
artist Taylor McKinnon in the field to discuss composition, light, and the fundamentals of how cameras work. You’ll get the chance to practice isolating interesting and beautiful subjects near and far and finding lovely visual order amidst the scenes of the Mogollon Highlands. If you have a camera, bring it. And if you have a tripod, bring that too. And if you have neither, perhaps only a smartphone, that’ll work, too. All are welcome in this practice of natural history through the lens.
