National Parks Service: Family Friendly Ranger Program

Join us for a surprise family oriented program.

Topics change daily.

Come curious, leave inspired! Meet at Verkamp’s Visitor Center (in the Village Historic District) at 1:30 pm. Program may include a walk through the historic district or along the Canyon Rim Trail/Trail of Time.

Program duration: 30 minutes. Presented daily.

We all have our favorites – favorite restaurants, favorite music, favorite parks. Join a ranger, or a park volunteer, for a program that is geared towards that ranger’s “favorite” topic or theme here at Grand Canyon!

Some of our recent Family Friendly Ranger talks have featured programs about: Geology, Wildlife, History, Grand Canyon’s Trails, Astronomy, and California Condors —to name a few.
