National Park Service: Saturday Plant Walk

Would you like to be able to identify some of the plants in the area?

You’re invited to join Ranger Tania for a guided plant walk. The hike will last approximately one hour and will cover terrain that is easy to moderate to navigate. It will begin at the visitor center at 9:00 a.m. every Saturday. Using a simple field guide we will be learning some helpful tricks used to identify different species. We will also be making simple herbarium samples of the plants we identify. All materials will be provided. Please bring your own water, hat, sunscreen, and good walking shoes.

Subject to change without notice due to staffing.

Meet at the visitor center at 4101 E Montezuma Canyon Rd. Hereford, AZ 85615
