National Park Service: Ranger’s Choice Program

Join us for a surprise program. Topics change daily. Come curious, leave inspired! Program may include a walk to Mather Point or along the Canyon Rim Trail.

Program duration: 30 minutes. Presented daily.

We all have our favorites – favorite restaurants, favorite music, favorite parks. Join a ranger, or a park volunteer, for a program that is geared towards that individual’s “favorite” topic or theme here at Grand Canyon!

Some of our recent Ranger talks have featured programs about: Geology, Wildlife, History, Grand Canyon’s Trails, Astronomy, and California Condors —to name a few.

Accessible. Family friendly. Perfect program for Junior Rangers!

The program is free of charge. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This program is subject to cancellation due to inclement weather or when lightning danger is present.
