National Park Service: Permaculture Design – Living and designing based on your ecosystem and climate

Join a park ranger to learn more about our local ecosystem and climate that we call home!

We will cover how Indigenous Peoples have thrived in this area and how important traditional knowledge is for our future. Through a modern perspective on lifestyles and technology we will see how permaculture design provides an opportunity to live more sustainably in harmony with our ecosystem and climate.This will be an interactive program that will be slightly hands on.

Event will be held from 10:00am – 11:00am at the Coronado National Memorial Visitor Center – 4101 E Montezuma Canyon Rd. Dress for the cold and sun. We will be outside adjacent to the Visitor Center. Please register for the event by calling the Visitor Center at 5203665515.
