National Park Service: Bird Walk
Join a ranger and park volunteer in front of the visitor center for a family-friendly bird walk.
Learn about birds coming through the park and how to identify by sight and sound. Spend an hour exploring washes and walking among the trees looking for warblers, flycatchers, woodpeckers, and anything else that sparks our curiosity. Bring your own binoculars or borrow from our limited supply. All are welcome, but the program is tailored to ages 8 and up.
