Mesa Arts Center: Welding/Beginning to Advanced
Learn to bend, shape, cut and finish steel to make decorative objects of art for your home and yard. Learn Oxy/Acetylene and MIG welding, plasma cutting, sheering, rolling, grinding and other shop processes to manipulate and finish steel. Estimated cost of materials $50 on up. All participants are required to bring leather work gloves (the yellow roping kind best), safety glasses and welding helmet. You do not need welding helmet for first class. Will go over helmet in first class. Students must wear all-cotton clothing and all-leather shoes.
