Mesa Arts Center: Intermediate Glass Blowing
Intermediate glass blowing provides a venue for students to refine their skills at creating basic forms and adapt that knowledge to create original works. All students are required to previous glass blowing experience—either having taken beginning glassblowing one or multiple times, or several months of experience at other studios/schools. Students are encouraged to consult a MAC glassblowing instructor to evaluate if they are ready to progress to intermediate classes. Weekly demonstrations will expose students to a broad range of techniques and a deeper understanding of the material. The curriculum is flexible, and demonstrations can be adjusted to address student goals and projects. Supplies are included. Previous glass blowing experience required.
