Mesa Arts Center: Basic Knife Making
In this course, you will forge, shape, heat treat, and finish a knife of the instructor’s design. After refining your skills with the shop forges and tools, you will create a knife of your own design. This is NOT a beginning class. Students must have taken Beginning Blacksmithing and made at least one blacksmith’s knife. Students are required to wear all-leather shoes and all-cotton clothing. Gloves and eye protection will be needed.
