Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Yavapai Trail BY NIGHT!
Join Ranger Shaun on a hike to the top of beautiful Yavapai Lookout to appreciate the desert in the silver light of the waxing moon. Restrooms and water available at the trailhead. Please wear closed toed shoes and dress in layers as the temperature can drop suddenly after dark, especially near the water, and bring a water bottle. Flashlight strongly recommended, blacklights encouraged though scorpions are rare this time of year.
MEETING LOCATION: Cottonwood Day Use Area, Pipeline Canyon /Yavapai Trailhead, via the NORTH ENTRANCE. Please enter the park through the NORTH ENTRANCE of Lake Pleasant (about 1.5 miles north of the main entrance). The trailhead is located at the end of the road after taking your first right pass the entry station.

If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please email back ASAP so those on the waiting list may be contacted. Registration for this program will close on 01/17/24.
