Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Wind Cave Educational Hike

Join ranger Evan on this tough hike that will be rewarded with great knowledge and views!

Want to get a good work out and learn a lot? If the answer is yes, then this program is perfect for you. Join Ranger Evan for a splendid 3.0-mile hike through the desert on Wind Cave Trail! On this difficult level hike, we will be discussing the unique ecology of the Sonoran Desert, adaptations that allow species to survive in the desert, and hopefully seeing some wildlife. This is a more difficult hike, so please bring plenty of water and wear closed-toe shoes, no pets please. Restrooms will be available at the trailhead.

MEETING LOCATION: Wind Cave Trailhead Limit 20 participants.
