Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Walk the Wash – Shallmo Wash

Come along on a roughly 4-mile hike along easy rated trails up Shallmo wash, along a short section of Escondido wash, and finally back along parts of Cinch, Scenic, and Pemberton trails. Check out the different living conditions in and around washes and learn about some of the challenges they present for both humans and wildlife.

Closed toe shoes and water bottles required. Temperatures can change quickly on the trail so dressing in layers is recommended. No pets please.

If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 12/8/25.
