Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Sunday Sunset Stroll

Join Ranger Kevin for a 1.8-mile hike along the Overton, Clay Mine and Go John Trails.

We’ll go slow and pause frequently to look around, allowing us to savor the last hour of daylight and the wonderful desert views to the west. Before the end of our hike, the western mountains will be crowned with a classic Arizona sunset (weather permitting, of course). The trail is mostly easy, with a few moderate stretches involving loose rock and some elevation change. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. We’ll meet at the Nature Center parking lot. Bathrooms are available at the Nature Center. NO pets, please.

Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Cave Creek Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 8. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 3/24/23.
