Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Scorpion Hike

The hike will cover 3 miles total, 1.5 miles out and 1.5 miles back with an elevation gain of 200ft. Please bring flashlights, water and a jacket (weather depending). Along the way we will stop to look for scorpions, talk about plants, and history of the park. Bathrooms and water are available at the trailhead.

Limit 25 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 8 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 3/4/26.
