Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: San Tan Valley Master Gardeners Series – Guided Walk along the Interpretive Trail

This is a short stroll to learn about native vegetation and current planting and enhancement projects initiated by the Master Gardeners.

Join the San Tan Valley Master Gardeners for an informative and easy stroll along the Park’s Interpretive Trail. Learn about common Sonoran Desert plants such as creosote, ocotillo and mesquite and their important relationship with pollinators. The Gardeners will also point out areas where they are collaborating with the park to revegetate and enhance areas to create educational opportunities. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring a hat and water. Meet at the main entry picnic area across from the Nature Center.
