Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Ranger Guided Hike Tortuga
Learn about desert plants, animals, and ecosystems along the moderate difficulty, roughly 1.2-mile Tortuga Trail. The cooler temperatures of the Arizona winter allow us to explore the desert during the day. While we may not be able to see all the critters of the desert, at least the plants are still here!
MEETING LOCATION: Picnic tables under the shade structures at the trailhead.
Please note: Entry to Spur Cross Conservation Area is $3 per person. Cash only is accepted. If entry station is closed, please place your money in the payment box at the gate.
