Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Quiet Walk

Feel inner peace outside on this easy walk featuring a guided 4-step outdoor meditation led by Ranger Jacque.

Would you like a break from noise and stress and a new way to enjoy nature? The Quiet process can help. It blends nine techniques or influences that research indicates have a calming or uplifting effect. This program is a 0.60-mile round trip easy walk on Lion’s Trail, featuring a quiet 20-minute restorative session by the river. Restrooms are available in the parking lot across from the Visitor Center, where we will meet. For maximum comfort, wear comfortable clothing and shoes, bring water, and a yoga mat or towel to sit on. No pets.

Please note: Summer programs may be canceled on short notice due to severe weather, including extreme heat events. The MC Parks website is the best resource for verifying the program’s current status, so please check the program listing prior to departing for your scheduled program.
