Join Ranger Nikki on an easy to moderate hike to learn about the fascinating plant and animal life in our Sonoran Desert.
Join Ranger Nikki for a 4-mile hike along Shallmo Wash, Cinch and Scenic Trails to observe plant and animal life in this area of winding seasonal waterways, including shrubs, legume trees and any monsoon vegetation that may be flourishing. The trails are rated easy to moderate and vary from even and smooth to uneven with small to medium rocks underfoot. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring water, snacks, a hat and sunscreen. Restrooms and water are available at the Trailhead.
