Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Plant Hike
Spend the morning outside to learn all about plants of the Sonoran Desert during this guided hike with Ranger Olivia.
Enjoy a guided nature hike along one of our trails to see all the beauty the desert plants have to offer. We will be along the North trail which is mostly flat with some uneven/rocky surfaces so please wear closed-toed shoes. We will do a loop of about 3 miles. Bring any questions you have about the plants that reside in the desert. Restrooms are available near the trailhead, and please be sure to bring plenty of water.
MEETING LOCATION: North Trailhead. Be aware that it will take an ADDITIONAL 5-10 minutes to get to the meeting location AFTER entering the park’s entry booth.
