Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Plant Hike
Join Ranger Nikki on an easy-to-moderate terrain hike to learn about desert plants, shrubs and legume trees including bursage, palo verde and creosote. The route uses Verde, Chuparosa and North to make a 4.5-mile loop. The terrain is mostly flat and even. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring water, a hat and sunscreen. Restrooms and water are available at the Trailhead and at the Nature Center along the way.
MEETING LOCATION: North Trail Trailhead. Please allow 10 minutes to drive from the entry booth to this trailhead at the northeast corner of the park.

If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please email the Ranger ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on Thursday, December 7.
