
Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Plant Hike
Enjoy an easy-to-moderate terrain hike to learn about desert plants, shrubs and legume trees including bursage, palo verde and creosote with Ranger Nikki. The route uses Wagner, Granite and Bluff Trails to make a 5.2-mile balloon loop. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring water, a hat and sunscreen. Restrooms and water are available at the Four Peaks Staging Area near the park entrance and at Area 5 in the campground just past Wagner Trailhead.
MEETING LOCATION: Wagner Trailhead at the entry to Rowland Campground on Thom’s Thumb Drive.

If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on Thursday, November 2
