Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Plant Hike

Join Ranger Nikki on an easy to moderate terrain 5.5-mile hike to learn about desert plants, shrubs and legume trees including bursage, palo verde and creosote. The route follows San Tan and Hedgehog Trails. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring water, a hat and sunscreen. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center and at the trailhead.

MEETING LOCATION: Main Trailhead map kiosk/picnic table
