Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: New Years Resolution Fitness Hike

Join Ranger Derik on a strenuous uphill hike to Wind Cave and take in the views of the mountains and the city lights. Click program title for more details. Website program details: We will hike the Wind Cave Trail which gains 800ft of elevation in the first 1.5 miles and at a distance of 3 miles, it is rated as difficult. The trail is steep and rocky, so you are encouraged to bring proper footwear and trekking poles are great to have if you have difficulty on rough, rocky trails. Please bring plenty of water and a snack for the top.

MEETING LOCATION: Wind Cave parking lot, next to the bathrooms, by the kiosk

Limit 15 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at 602-506-2930 ext. 4. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 1/5/24.
