Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Nature Hike

Start your day enjoying the beauty around you with Ranger Olivia on this morning nature hike!

Enjoy a moderate to easy hike along parts of three popular trails, San Tan, Stargazer, and Moonlight, for a 2.5 mile hike with mostly smooth terrain and some slightly uneven parts. This is a chance to connect with nature and ask any questions you might have about your surrounding environment! This hike will be a loop, and provide you with the opportunity to see many different plants and possibly animals that reside in the desert. Please wear close-toed shoes and bring plenty of water! There is a restroom and water at the Nature Center.

MEETING LOCATION: Main Trailhead Area

For those participating in the 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge (Nov. 1-Feb. 8), this hike is a great way to work towards your goal! For more information about the challenge, visit https://www.maricopacountyparks.net/things-to-do/activity/100-miles-in-100-days-challenge/
