Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Morning Meander

Enjoy an early morning walk to watch for birds, lizards, snakes, and small animals with Ranger Jacque.

Let’s see what sorts of wildlife we can spot. Birds should be active at this time and there’s not a bad chance for lizards and small animals too. The route will be on Waterfall Trail; this will be an easy 2-mile hike out-and-back. The terrain is mostly level, but there are a few spots that are uneven with small to medium rocks underfoot. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Restrooms and water are available at the trail head.

MEETING LOCATION: Waterfall trailhead, Area 6

No registration required.
