Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Mesquite Festival

Learn about the various uses and roles of mesquites in our Southwest culture at this free, family-friendly event at Coffinger Park in Wickenburg! 

Discover all the “Tree of Life” has to offer at this free, family-friendly community event. There will be cooking tips, food sampling, kids games, and information on the ecology, history, gardening and landscaping, nutritional and medicinal uses of this native legume tree of the Southwest. This event will take place at Coffinger Park in nearby Wickenburg (address: 175 Swilling Ave, Wickenburg, AZ 85390). This event is in partnership with the Town of Wickenburg, Maricopa County Parks and Rec, Wickenburg Conservation Foundation, and the Desert Awareness Committee. No registration required.
