Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Lunch and Learn – Mammals

What makes a mammal? Ranger Shaun would love to tell you! Bring a lunch and grab a chair!

Find out how mammals have adapted to live…well, basically everywhere, but specifically we’re going to talk about the Sonoran Desert. What is a mammal, what makes them special, and how have they come to be everywhere? We’ll take a quick look at mammals from the inside and out, look at some bones and pelts, and talk about some oddballs like marsupials and platypus. So, grab a snack, bring questions and get answers!
