
Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Guided Plant Hike
Join Ranger Eric for a guided hike on the Preserve’s trails to learn about the riparian and upland Sonoran Desert plants growing here, and their ecological and cultural importance.
Trail difficulty is low to moderate, with one steep stretch on the way up to Lyke’s Lookout at the end of the hike (optional), which offers a scenic vantage point of the river and surrounding desert. Space is limited. To register, please call the Visitor Center at 928-684-2772.
