
Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Guided Hike along San Tan Trail
Join the ranger for a 5.5-mile guided hike along the moderate terrain of San Tan and Hedgehog Trails. Stopping points include the petroglyph, prehistoric agricultural rock piles and the crested saguaro. We will also be on the lookout for saguaro blooms and the Eco-Blitz species of the month – the Common Chuckwalla. Bring plenty of water, snacks, a hat and closed-toe shoes.
Limit 20 participants. Registration required by calling the Park office at 602-506-2930 x7 for San Tan.
Meet at the main entrance trailhead map kiosk/picnic table.
