Join Ranger Eric for a guided hike to learn about the resident and migratory birds of the Sonoran Desert. Along the way, we will talk about how to identify birds by sight and sound, as well as talk about their biogeography and ecological roles. We will hike 2.2 miles roundtrip on a loop of the Crismon Wash, Meridian, Noso, and Blevins Trails on moderate grade, with frequently sandy, rocky, or uneven ground. Please dress in layers, wear protective clothing and/or sunscreen, wear sturdy footwear, and carry ample water, electrolytes, and snacks for yourself. Restrooms are available at the Area 10 trailhead.
