Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Full Moon Hike
Discover the magic and majesty of the full moon rising over the desert landscape, following the famous Arizona sunset draping over the mountains. This 2-mile hike follows Spur Cross and Metate trails in a loop, starting from the entry station. Please wear sturdy shoes, bring water, and cash for the self-pay station. Small hand-held flashlights are OK; please refrain from using headlamps. This program is weather-dependent. Please check our website for cancellations before attending.
MEETING LOCATION: Spur Cross Trailhead, near covered picnic tables Please note: Entry to Spur Cross Conservation Area is $3 per person. Cash only is accepted. If entry station is closed, please place your money in the payment box at the gate.
Limit 20 participants. To register, please call Cave Creek Nature Center at 602-506-2930 ext. 8 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call back ASAP so those on the waiting list may be contacted. Registration for this program will close on 1/9/24.
