Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Full Moon Hike
Discover the magic and majesty of the full moon rising over the desert landscape, following the famous Arizona sunset draping over the mountains. This is moderate out-and-back hike will follow a 1-1.5 mile section of Pemberton Trail towards Pemberton Pond. Plan to hike for 2 hours and for a total distance of 2-2.5 miles. Please wear sturdy shoes, bring water, and cash per vehicle for the self-pay station. Small hand-held flashlights and blacklights are OK; please refrain from using headlamps. No pets please. Registration is required.
MEETING LOCATION: Trailhead staging area at Pemberton trailhead, south access
Limit 15 participants. To register, please call the McDowell Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 3 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 07/16/24.
