Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Full Moon Hike
The ranger lead hike with take you 2.2 miles along sections of the Black Rock and Waterfall trails. These trails are considered moderate so expect loose and rocky sections boots are encouraged. While we will be going on the waterfall trail the waterfall itself only flows after significant rain events. Please make sure to have a flashlight and if you have one a blacklight doesn’t hurt to have especially when it comes to hunting for scorpions. Both water and bathrooms can be found at the area 4 trailhead. Please not pets.
MEETING LOCATION: Area 4 Parking Lot
Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at 602-506-2930 ext.5 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call back ASAP so those on the waiting list may be contacted. Registration for this program will close on 7/19/24.
