Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Fitness Hike
Ranger Nikki will lead you on moderate to difficult fitness hike on the 5.8 mile Go John Trail loop.
The trail varies from even surfaces to those that are uneven and rocky. There is a 411-foot elevation difference from the lowest to the highest parts of the trail. Along the way we will talk about a variety of cacti including saguaro, cholla and any animals we see such as birds, lizards, deer and more. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring snacks and plenty of water. Hiking poles are helpful. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center and Trailhead. Meeting Location: Go John Trailhead on Tonalite Drive.
