Join Ranger Kevin in the fresh air and sunshine for a fitness hike surrounded by the spectacular scenery of Usery Mountain Park.

This year, come hit the trails! Whether your New Year’s resolution is to exercise more, get out into nature, or complete the 100 Miles in 100 Days challenge, let’s get the year off to a great start! We’ll be taking on portions of seven different trails (Blevins, Meridian, County Line, Ruidoso, Spillway, Cat Peaks, and Pass Mountain) for this roughly 4-mile hike. These trail segments are rated easy-moderate, which means you can expect some loose rock, uneven terrain and elevation change. Please bring plenty of water and wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear. Proper clothing (layers), sunscreen, and hat are strongly recommended. Restrooms and water are available at the trailhead. Please, NO pets. For those of you participating in the 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge, this is a great way to work towards your goal! The challenge runs from Nov.1-Feb. 8.
