Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Evening Fitness Hike
The hike will cover sections of the Blevins, Meridian, and Cat peaks trails for a total of 4.3 miles and combined the route is considered moderate. Expects rocky, sandy, and uneven trail in many places. If you have mobility issues or bad knees hiking poles are strongly encouraged. As we will be hiking after sunset make sure to pack a flashlight or headlamp with a full charge or new/extra batteries. Bathrooms are available at the trailhead however this is no water fountain so make sure to have water with you already. You can stop by the nature center on way to the trailhead if you need to fill up your water bottles or hydration bladders. Please no pets..
MEETING LOCATION: Blevins Trailhead at the trailhead staging area.
Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 4 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 8/2/24.
