Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Estrella – Invasive Species Removal

Meet at the park’s Nature Center.

Join us in removing invasive species and reducing wildfire risk in our parks.

Participants will learn to identify several invasive species, their phenology and characteristics, and how to effectively remove these invasive plants.

Please bring work gloves, water, and a snack.  Wear long-sleeved shirt, pants, and closed-toed shoes.

Participants must be 13 years or older to participate in these events, if you are 13-17, you will need to be accompanied by an adult, or waiver and transportation provided by an adult.

Note:  If less than three people register for each event, we reserve the right to cancel at least one day before.  If Canceled, email notification will go to the registrants.
