Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Easy Butterfly Stroll

Take an easy walk with the Ranger around the Nature Center and nearby pathways to look for and identify butterflies.

Investigate areas with plants and trees whose blooms are important food sources for common flutterers such as Gray Hairstreak, American Snout, Queen and members of the Sulphur family. We will also keep an eye out for the County Park’s March Eco-Blitz Challenge Species of the Month: the Sara Orange-Tip Butterfly.  Limited to 20 participants. Meet at the Nature Center.

To register, please email Ranger Nikki at nikki.bunnell@maricopa.gov with the Name, Phone Number and # of people attending.

Registration deadline: Monday, March 14.
