Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Discovery Station – San Tan Critters

Stop by the Nature Center to learn about San Tan’s animal ambassadors with Ranger Nikki during this drop-in session.  

Ranger Nikki will introduce you to San Tan’s animal ambassadors, including snakes, chuckwallas, tortoises, and a Gila monster. Learn about their life cycles, adaptations and what you should do if you encounter their relatives on the trail. Bring your water with you and a hat to visit the outdoor tortoise enclosure. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center.

MEETING LOCATION: Nature Center

No registration required. Just stop by any time between 12:30 and 2:00pm.
