Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Discovery Station – How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love…Rattlesnakes!

Come to the Nature Center and meet Ranger Kevin from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. The theme is rattlesnakes, so bring your curiosity and your questions. We’ll bust some misbegotten myths about these creatures, delve into some fascinating facts, as well as learn how to safely share the desert with our reptilian neighbors. There’s a Connecting with Nature hike at 5pm, and a Creatures of the Night hike at 6:30pm, so sign up for one (or both) of those, and then arrive early. Or just drop on in for this rattlesnake rap session, no registration required!

MEETING LOCATION: Nature Center, critter room
No registration required, just drop in between 2:00 – 4:00pm!
