Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Discovery Station – Herbivores

Join Ranger Olivia to learn more about the herbivores that reside in our desert, and what they might eat in order to survive.

Have you ever thought about what our desert herbivores eat, and what it might be like to only eat plants? This might be the program for you! While Herbivores and vegetarians are not the same thing, they are pretty similar and are both possible in the Sonoran Desert. During National Vegetarian Month, learn the similarities and differences between the two, and why both are important to our environment. This is a casual drop-in program that will also include some samples to try of things some herbivores might consume in the wild!

MEETING LOCATION: Nature Center

No registration required, just drop by between 10am-1pm!
