Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Discovery Station – Connect with Nature Through Your Phone

Drop by Ranger Shaun’s City Naturalist app Workshop to find out about some of the best apps on the market for identifying the plants and animals you see in the parks!

Come by to check out the latest apps the Rangers are using to help them when they aren’t sure about an ID in the field. Learn how you can contribute to the growing citizen-science initiative and help expand upon a national database that can be used to help researchers understand biodiversity in our parks, our state and around the world. Afterward, feel free to come along with Ranger Shaun to get some field time with your new toys on a Scorpion Safari!
