Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Desert Survival

Park volunteer Peter will guide you through the basics of desert safety including clothing, footwear, equipment, first aid and other essentials.

Topics covered include clothing, footwear, equipment, first aid and other essentials to help you prepare for animal encounters, heat and unexpected situations. Remember your closed-toe shoes, water and hat. No pets, please. Limited to 20 participants. Registration required by calling the San Tan park office at 602-506-2930 x7. Meet at the picnic area near the main entrance.
