
Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Desert 101 Hike
Join Ranger Eric for a guided 2.6-mile hike to learn about the animals, plants, and ecology of the Sonoran Desert. We will do a loop incorporating segments of the Baseline and Gila Trails. The trails are moderate with occasional inclines and rocky, uneven terrain. Please wear sturdy footwear and sun protection, carry ample water, electrolytes, and snacks. Restrooms are located near the trailhead.

If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list.
